QR code scanner, as of today, is available on almost all mobile devices. To call it quits, you need to use the downloads especially for your smartphone app, or turn on the corresponding option on the camera. But all of this will soon end up unnecessary, Android will have an in-house scanner.
According to Android Police, the new Android 13 will have a QR code scanner. It will be available directly on the desktop under the quick access bar, regardless of the device model.
It is not yet clear whether the developer will extend the Google Lens scanner or release a separate application. In any case, the scanner will be the default option for a new version of the “green robot”.
